This is a fixed rate product where the rate is fixed for a period of time, generally ranging from for a term of 1-5 years. This provides security that the interest rate cannot change during the term it is fixed. Restrictions apply on additional principal repayments. Costs may apply if repaid before the expiry of the fixed term.
