CrediFlex New Zealand is an associate member, and all our Home Loan Partners are members, of the New Zealand Mortgage Brokers Association.
The New Zealand Mortgage Brokers Association (NZMBA) promotes high standards of professional and ethical conduct, including expert knowledge, integrity, competency and service to clients, lenders and the public of New Zealand.
The NZMBA provides education, legislative and regulatory representation, and public relations for members and also handles disciplinary matters relating to customer complaints.
There are many benefits and protections for a customer when choosing an NZMBA member to arrange their home loan finance. Members must always:
- Be open, honest and sincere
- Act impartially
- Act fairly and carefully
- Be professional
- Act independently of any lender
- Have relevant and current experience
- Represent at lease six lenders to ensure choice for customers
- Have passed appropriate qualifications
- Explain the source of all commissions
- Have at least $1 million in professional indemnity insurance cover
- Offer a full range of product types and options
- Have an acceptable personal record
- Have completed an approved training programme
